What is an AI rap generator?
An AI rap generator gives you a way to turn something you want to say into a performance you can watch. Start with an idea, such as the toast you wish you had given at a friend's birthday. Write down the detail everyone remembers, the person you want to address and the mood you want to leave them with. The generator drafts a short verse you can edit. If you already have the words, paste them straight into the lyrics field. Your portrait gives the rapper a face, while the scene and audio choices set the stage.
Think of the verse as a few bars that have to earn their place in a short clip. “We used to miss the last bus” gives the first shot somewhere to take you. A line about the walk home can answer it, and the name of the stop can become the hook. Read it aloud before you choose a duration. If you have to hurry past the line that matters most, try cutting the setup. You can make those decisions while the verse is still a draft, before you spend credits on a video. Try giving the writer a concrete detail instead of a mood on its own. Compare “write something nostalgic” with “write about the red bus ticket I kept after our first show.” The second idea gives you an object you can return to in the last line, even if you rewrite every rhyme in the draft.
Which styles can I try in the AI rap generator?
Try the same opening line against two beats before committing to a style. Classic Hip-Hop gives a spoken punchline room to land. Night Melody suits a reflective verse, such as a message to your younger self. Street Drill can work for a clipped, emphatic delivery. Sunny Funk is worth a listen for a playful introduction or a birthday shout-out. You can audition these instrumental references in the audio picker. Listen for the space after the last word of a line. If the next line feels crowded, shorten it or try a different reference.
The stage is a separate choice. The live house puts an audience close to the performer. The recording studio frames a more intimate delivery, while the night rooftop gives a reflective hook some space. The street cypher puts a direct address in a setting where it makes sense to face the camera. You can pair a bright beat with a dark rooftop or a quiet verse with the energy of a crowd. The sample gallery lets you compare a wide performance with a vertical one before you choose the frame for your own.
A custom rap or a video template?
Start in the generator when the words are the reason for the video. You might want to tell the story of a first gig, introduce a new nickname or trade lines with a friend. You control the lyrics, the stage, the audio reference and the length offered by your model. For two performers, give each person a separate portrait. A question followed by a short answer makes it easier to hear the exchange. Keep a solo if one person is telling the whole story and the other would have little to say.
Pick a template when you already know the performance you want to step into. In the Bulin 47 street freestyle, one portrait casts the lead in a crowd with the prepared soundtrack. Hotel Lobby gives two performers an orange booth, one hanging microphone and a role on either side. Open a template below to check its sound, number of portraits, framing and credit quote before choosing photos. For a walkthrough from casting to downloading, read how to make an AI rap video.
Which photo works on camera?
Choose a clear portrait of one adult you have permission to feature. Hold the original and your intended crop side by side. Can you still see both eyes, the outline of the face and the shoulders? A front view or a slight turn works well for this. A cap casting a shadow across the eyes, a hand resting over the mouth or another face near the edge can make the subject harder to identify. An ordinary phone portrait in even daylight is a good starting point.
Use a JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC file up to 25 MB per photo. When a group picture is the only copy, crop each performer into a separate image and check that the face still looks sharp at its new size. For a duet, assign those portraits to their parts before you generate. If the photo is on your phone and the verse is on your computer, use the phone upload option from the photo picker. You can keep working on the same draft without transferring the picture by email.
Choose a frame and length for your verse
If the clip is a message someone will watch on a phone, try the upright frame. It gives a single performer more of the screen. A wide frame can make a two-person exchange easier to read and leaves room to see the studio or crowd. Watch the samples in both shapes and notice where your eye goes when the hands move away from the face. Pick the shape for the place you plan to show the finished video, before you generate it.
For length, time yourself speaking the verse with the pauses you actually want. Give a repeated hook room to repeat. If only the setup fits, consider keeping the strongest two lines instead of speeding up the entire performance. Change the duration in the creator and read the updated quote. The available lengths and resolutions depend on the model. An audio reference helps establish the feel of the performance. You can select a short passage from your own MP3 or WAV if there is a particular rhythm you want to use.
How many credits will my rap video use?
The quote includes preparing a character reference for each performer and generating the seconds of video you choose. The rate per second depends on the model and resolution. The total rounds up to the next multiple of five credits when needed. For example, a solo MiniMax H3 performance at 720p for 15 seconds costs 40 credits. When comparing two settings, keep the verse and duration the same and change just the resolution. The number beside Generate shows what that choice does to the total.
Templates show a fixed price for their particular performance. On a duet template the displayed quote covers the pair, so you can compare the full clip with a custom duet before you buy. Credit packs are one-time purchases and purchased credits do not expire. To compare packs, see video prices, then return to your draft and review the quote. Payment adds credits to your balance. You choose when to use them by confirming the generation after checking the photos, beat and final words.
Frequently asked questions
What photo should I upload?
Use a clear photo of one person, with their face visible. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC are supported, up to 25 MB. Visible clothing is preserved; missing details are completed with coordinated stagewear.
Do I need my own lyrics or music?
Describe what you want to say and we’ll write a short verse you can edit. You can also paste your own lyrics. Reference audio is optional. Each account gets one free verse. With a positive credit balance, writing lyrics uses no credits.
Can I choose the length and video shape?
Yes. Choose landscape 16:9 or portrait 9:16. The length slider changes with the model, and the creator shows the supported range and credit cost before you generate.
How much does a video cost?
Credits depend on the model, resolution and duration. MiniMax H3 at 720p for 15 seconds uses 40 credits, including the character reference image. Your total is shown before generation. Buying credits does not start generation.
Where do I find my video?
Progress and results appear below the creator and in My videos after sign-in. You can leave the page and return to check progress. Completed videos can be downloaded privately as MP4 files with sound.
What happens if generation fails?
A confirmed generation failure returns the credits used for that video. If a result is still being processed or saved, the same task continues; it does not start a second generation or charge again.
Can I make a rap for two people?
Add a partner in the creator and upload one portrait per performer. Give the second voice a reason to come in, such as a reply to the opening line. If you want a rehearsed exchange with the parts already set, open the Hotel Lobby duet from the templates section.
Can I use my own beat?
Yes. Choose an MP3 or WAV you have permission to use, select a short passage and listen to it alongside your verse. You can also audition a built-in instrumental or work without a reference track. A reference guides the generated performance.
